Scottish Country Dancing
What does the group do?
Members of Arun U3A are invited to join with Worthing
U3A to learn Scottish Country Dancing with this easy, relaxed group led by a very professional
and accomplished tutor.
This is a complete
exercise for the body and mind, not Highland dancing but the
ballroom dancing of Scotland. Partners not required as it is
the unwritten rule that partners change after each dance.
Level of Expertise
This
is a beginners class, experience not required.
Meetings Second and
fourth Fridays, 10.00am -
noon.
Venue
The group meets at the Catholic Church Hall, Vermont Drive, East Preston.
Equipment needed
Soft
shoes, such as plimsoles or ballet type
slippers (available from Felix Store, Littlehampton). Not
though for the 1st lesson, enjoy a taster session before you buy new
shoes.
Costs 50p towards the hire of the hall.
