Saturday Workshops

What does the group do?  Workshops will deal with a great variety of topics, many suggested by its members and then arranged by the Convenor. For example, possible topics include water painting, family history, the use of ipods, play reading, preparing some dramatic scenes such as may be used later in a local pantomime or other performance.  A wide range of card making activities are practised with talented members sharing their expertise and knowledge. Also Adult Education tutors help especially with water colour and mixed media.

A very friendly atmosphere prevails & sharing a plated lunch or, if preferred, a packed lunch makes a pleasant social interlude.  Tea & coffee are always available.

Level of expertise the group is aimed at  General interest, perhaps with some artistic ability.

Meetings  Saturdays, varying dates, usually 10.30am - 3pm.

Venue  Usually the Village Hall, East Preston, can sometimes be at Rustington.

Equipment needed  Materials for work are supplied by Convenor.

Costs  Variable depending on length of workshop, venue, tutor, materials and numbers attending.  Booking is necessary and a deposit is required, usually £4 per class.   See The Beacon for contact details.
