Madrigals

What does the group do?     The group meets to sing madrigals.  The word madrigal really means unaccompanied secular songs, the parts are interwoven and independent of each other. Therefore a singer must be able to read and hold an independent line of music whilst others are weaving their own parts around it. Some madrigals are very difficult, needless to say we will not be attempting these in the near future.

Level of expertise the group is aimed at  Members must be able to sing and it is imperative that they can read music.

Meetings  The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 3-5pm.

Venue  The group meets at Angmering Community Centre.
