What does the group do? Our instructor,
Marion, has been a florist for over 30 years and has kindly agreed
to give us the benefit of her long experience in flower arranging.
Level of Expertise
From beginners onwards.

1st Friday of the month, 2.00 - 4.00pm.

Venue
Parish Hall, Rustington.
Equipment needed
Scissors or secateurs, oasis, &
a bag for rubbish. Foliage is always
useful and, as we progress, keep a look out at charity shops for nice shaped
containers.

A Spring arrangement in a container of
your choice and

An antique style container or a teapot
arrangement,
colours and flowers of your choice

An oval
container of your choice with two shades of flowers, and a miniature
arrangement of your choice

May |
Blossom time
– a landscape in a round tub or garden pot, to include moss,
stones or similar accessories

6th June |
A front
facing arrangement in a taller container if possible in one or two shades,
and a competition for the best single rose
|

July |
Japanese style arrangement with a few flowers and
foliage, also a miniature arrangement of your choice
|

Basket shape of your choice with mixed flowers and foliage

A round posy arrangement in two shades and
buttonholes or
corsages

Autumn shading with plenty of foliage, can also use dried flowers,

A Christmas table
arrangement of your choice, but
