Coordinator for Arun West, Eve Castle

Originally from north-west London, Eve moved to Hertfordshire in 1979 where she stayed for 25 years.

She moved to East Preston in 2004 on her own.  Her husband had died in 1989, the children had flown the nest, the grandchildren almost grown up and starting to do their own thing .... so she took the plunge to be by the sea.

She wondered at first if she had done the right thing, but she found the U3A and hasn't looked back.  She enjoys the theatre, outings, supper club and several crafts as well as her home and garden.
