Assistant Membership Secretary, Brenda Zealey

Brenda was born in Willesden, N.W. London and educated at the Convent of Jesus & Mary.  She has always worked as a secretary, mainly for the N.H.S. in Pathology at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow and St. Peter's Hospital, Chertsey.

 

She has one daughter who lives in Spain with her husband and Brenda's 2

grandchildren, Daniel and Samantha.

 

After retiring to Rustington in 2004 Brenda's husband died very suddenly.

She has had to build a new life for herself since then, and has found

the U3A to be a wonderful life-line and a place where she has made so many good friends.

 

Brenda runs the Supper Club group with Kathy Larsson and, since joining

the committee, has been appointed assistant Membership Secretary.
