U3A Monthly Meetings
Day: 3rd Wednesday of the month
Start
Time: 2pm
Venue:
Large Hall,
Woodlands Centre, Woodlands Avenue, Rustington.
Entrance: FREE to members
Details of recent developments will be announced
during the afternoon, and Group Leaders and Committee Members will be
available for discussion. All dates are third Wednesdays.
21st December 11: Traditional
Music on Unusual Instruments with Joy Lewis and Derrick Hughes.
After the music we
will have a Christmas Party with mince pies, Christmas cake, cheese
straws and tea/coffee and biscuits. Members are asked to collect
their free lucky tickets at the November monthly meeting, as numbers
are limited to 120. A draw will take place during the afternoon. A
fun afternoon!
Please note: Entrance is by ticket only
18th January 12: Canine Partners,
a talk by Malcolm Wells MBE who is their national speaker
15th February 12: Titanic, a talk by Rob
Goldsmith who was chosen to be present at the dive down to the
Titanic wreck.
