An evening of
Stories, Strawberries & Wine; don't miss it!
Arun University of
the Third Age
is part of the great network of self-help groups
which form the U3A and promote life-long learning and leisure activities
for older people no longer in full-time employment. Not a university
in the conventional sense .... here everyone's skills and experience are
valuable and we all learn from each other. No qualifications
needed. And a great way to keep active mentally,
socially and physically.
"All my life I used to wonder what I would become when I grew up.
Then, about seven years ago, I realized that I was never going to
grow up ... that growing is an ever ongoing process."
A quote
from M. Scott Peck
Where Are We?
Most of us live in the coastal area of West Sussex on
either side of the River Arun. Activities take
place in several towns and villages, including Littlehampton,
Rustington, East Preston, Arundel, Middleton and Yapton.
